MacBookAir MacOS 10.6.8
Atplana studio 3 latest download from yesterday.
I downloaded Eclipse and Atplana 3 and presumably all the needed dependencies including those for pylint yesterday. Giving them a spin. The following niceties do not seem to work.
Aptana studio 3 > Preferences > PyDev > Editor > Code Formatter:
"Use space before and after operators?" This works but only if "Auto-format editor contents before saving?" is checked. Okay. It seems then I learned how to use this feature set. Otherwise, spaces are not added after saving or reopening the file or restarting Aptana+PyDev or RUNning the file.
"Use space before and after parenthesis?" The autofill of second parenthesis, bracket, etc. gets in my way, but this spacing feature should mitigate the interference. However, I never have seen this work: applying, saving or reopening the file or restarting Aptana+PyDev or RUNning the file add no spaces.
I assumed too much. "Use space before and after parenthesis?" only works for parenthesis as it states. It would be nice to have this feature for [] and {} since PyDev autofills the closing bracket and brace.
