Hi all, This is my first message to the mailing list. I've tried to find an answer to my problems in the archive but I did not succeed. So, here it goes: I am getting an error "SQLSTATE 01517 - A character that could not be converted was replaced with a substitute character" when doing a search trough pydb2. The same SQL works fine trough the Control center. I've read in a web page that I have to set the appropiate value for db2codepage in the client. I am not sure what this mean, but I suposse it has do something with setting up my database as UTF-8. I am using a Windows XP environment with DB2 v8.1.7.445 (SQL08020) Personal Developer Edition. Does anyone have this problem? Thanks in avance. Javier de la Torre. |
