Great.  Would you like to be a developer on the project?  That way you
could get the latest code from CVS, make your changes, test them, and
check them in.  Just let me know your sourceforge name (kibosoft ?)
and I'll add you to the project as a developer.

As for your ideas, you could join the mailing list and try to get a
