Hi all,

i have loaded my arduino config and the arduino is connected on COM5
when i start pydarts.bat I see then Screen where i can choose the ComPorts 1,3 and 5 where the Arduino is connected.
When i Press F3 for Port 5 he tells me Unable to load serial connection

the .pydarts folder in my home directory is created but inside this directory is only a scores.txt file.
When i start pydarts from console i receive the following message

[FATAL] Unable to load serial port : "None". Common errors are :
* Your board is not connected
* Your config file is not set properly (pydarts.cfg in your home folder)
* Your arduino driver is not installed properly (windows only)
* You're not part of the dialout group (Linux only).
-- Note : You can use --noserial argument to bypass serial connection.

Hi,
looks like your config missing parts.
Which version you have downloaded?

How long is the USB Cable, and the Arduino is blinking when yu put the cable in?

Wen du willst kannst du auch deutsch fragen/antworten.

First of all welcome to the pyDarts community ;)

To know more about your issue, could you give me precisely :

the version of pyDarts you use (displayed when you launch it on the top bar)

did you sucessfully install the Arduino driver ?

Hey Chrigu,
Please do the following to help us debugging :

Delete your config file C:\Users\myname.pydarts\pydarts.cfg if it exists
Launch pydarts and press the key corresponding to your COM port
Calibrate your board as requested.
When you see the menu, exit from pyDarts and send us the log of this process please.

As a workaround, write "COM3" in your config file directly, I guess it will work directly.

Hallo Andreas
Ihr seid aber schnell. :-)

Ich benutze pydarts_v1.0.0
Die gelbe Led blinkt ca 0.5 Sekunden danach leuchtet sie dauernd.
Das Kable ist ca. 1.5 Meter.
Ich habe den .pydarts folder gelöscht und pydarts.exe nochmals aufgerufen.
Danach wählte ich mit F3 den Com Port auf dem der Arduino angeschlossen ist, jedoch kann ich das Board nicht konfigurieren, sobald ich F3 drücke kommt die Meldung das er nicht Connecten kann.

Habs auch mit der neusten Source pydarts-source-a8dd90994061571ceac71fb7f46ebb42a90d4246
versucht pydarts.bat kommt jedoch dieselbe Meldung

Falls Du noch mehr Angaben brauchst, melde Dich bitte

  Mit der "aktuellen" source die poilou gerade gebaut hat, sollte es klappen.
  Vorher noch einmal den .pydarts folder löschen.
  Kabellänge hört sich auch gut an.
  Sketch ist in den Arduino geladen nimm ich an?
  Es benutzen noch nicht viele das pydarts, oder haben keine Probleme damit :)
  Aber Hilfe gibt es hier immer schnell.
  Wenn nicht weiter fragen. Heute abend bin ich zur Not auch noch von zu Hause aus Online, falls du mehr Hilfe brauchst.

i have done all steps from [https://sourceforge.net/p/pydarts/wiki/Installation%20on%20Windows/]
all 32bit versions not from DependenciesPack.
The pydarts.cfg file was never created.

  If I can ask you something, it would be to downlaod the latest binary package for windows (just uploaded now) and to start again the process from zero to be sure that everything works as expected now.

@Andreas Thanks for trying to debug ;)
@Chrigu I am sad to find a bug so early after the release. I'll update the binaries this week.

i have downloaded the version with the link above.
But the pydarts.exe receives the same error as before.
I have seen that the exe was not modified yesterday only the manifest

now it works fine
i was able to choose the port and can configure the board
