I believe they were added to Python 2.1.3 and 2.2.1. I'm now on Python 
2.2.2 and I may target that version as the minimum for PyCrust starting 
with PyCrust 0.8.

I may have slipped in some other new Python features. Any chance of you 
upgrading to Python 2.2.2?
