Datum: Wed, 24 Mar 2010 13:09:19 +0100 Von: Sandro Mani <man...@gm...> An: Dr. Trigon <dr....@su...> Hello Ursin, the possibility to acquire the image directly from the program would be nice, one could create a button "Acquire" next to the "Open" button and then a separate dialog. One could also try to get in touch with the SimpleScan developers which is a simple scanning program included by default in ubuntu 10.04 instead basically doing the same work again. Concerning my experiences with tesseract, I've not done much more than simply use it as-is up to now :). My priorities at the moment is to improve the drawing area which is still to slow for some operations (such as heavy zooming) - need to play a bit more with cairo there. By the way, are you by any chance us...@st... ?:D If so, I am sm...@st..., and we could actually meet some time here at ETH ;) Cheers, Sandro On 03/24/2010 10:05 AM, Dr. Trigon wrote: > Hello back! > > Yes this could give an intressting boost to both projects!
