I am working on an embedded version of pyClips within a Geographic Information System (GIS).
For this, large numbers of facts (>> 100,000) are generated from spatial information and must finally be exported back into the GIS application.
The export step currently iterates over the facts of a template using the InitalFact and NextFact functions. The performance is not very good: Exporting about 10,000 facts already causes noticeable delays. For serious GIS work, the performance needs to be increased:
What is fastest approach to access the parameters of all facts of a given template?
