this sounds weird. Could you please describe, which version of pycam you
use and which part of the interface contains this export option, that
you did not expect?

Pycam exports toolpaths as GCode, that can be used by any machining software.


Did you already create a toolpath?  Is it visible in the 3D preview?
Did you enter the "Toolpaths" tab, select the interesting toolpath(s)
and click on "export" below?
