#15 Specify or Detect important levels for Contours

The Countour follow routine is great for following a contour in the XY plane, but it does nothing to adjust the height of the contours it follows. In fact, contours are picked according to the maximum step down. It would be nice if the important contour levels (in Z) could be listed manually or determined automatically.

My example illustrates this well. The three shapes shown have a relatively simple contour. The two smaller shapes have a ledge that is 0.0625" above the bottom. The material is soft, so I could easily remove 0.100" layers. But sampling the geometry every 0.100" does not produce a shape with the desired dimensions in Z.
