did first test runs with pycam toolpaths on my diy cnc and came across another thing: is there any way to control the 'plunge behavior' ?
usually one doesn't want the tool to plunge down into the material vertically, as it puts a lot of stress on the tool.
i've seen other programs solving this by plunging in slope/ramp or helix shaped paths.

sorry - for now you cannot do this with PyCAM.
It should be possible in some months, I guess …
