Hi i'm completely new to pycam and haven't got
any experience with other cam programs, but once
I got anit used to tge program i made a sample
toolpath but when we try to export the cnc code
from we get an error wich reads the following:
failed to save toolpath file [Errno 2] no such file or
directory:'this is filler text'
does anyone know what we can do about this

Could this be a usability issue of the file selection dialog of your system?
At least in Gnome/GTK (I think), the dialog would start with the list of "recently used files" - which is not a valid "directory" for storing a file.
If you mean something else: please post a screenshot.

I got this error when I tried to save without specifying a destination. When I saved to Desktop it worked fine.
