Hi Lars, I am so quick because I check every day.
The old 5.1 did a very good job but svn currently gives me some trouble as it generates only a portion of the toolpath for DXF files (3D models work very well).
The same dxf worked with the old version 5.1

it feels good to know, that someone is following svn trunk closely :)
Could you elaborate the problem that you are currently experiencing with the 2D toolpath generator?
From my point of view, everything should work at the moment.
You could also send me example files (sumpfralle users.sourceforge.net) …
cheers,
Lars

Given a 2d dxf file with many polygons, if you select "radius compensation" the resulting toolpath for engraving includes only a small number of polygons, not all polygons.
Saving the resulting toolpath gives a gcode file with instructions for only a few polygons.
Without radius compensation all works fine.

you are right: - polygon offsetting is currently only working for very simple models.
Please ignore this issue for some more weeks - I hope to integrate opencamlib quit soon - this will give us a better algorithm.
cheers,
Lars
