Trouble installing PyCam on XP

    Hi,

    I have not been able to install PyCam on Windows XP.
    During the installation an instance of PyCam is opened and then the install freezes.
    I have posted an image of the install windows here…

    Any suggestions?

    I have Python 2.7.1 installed.

    Hi Ted,

    is the GUI really completely frozen? That would be weird …

    Maybe you could try to run PyCAM limited to a single CPU core? 

    c:\python27\python.exe -- pycamGui.py  --number-of-processes 1

    For now I never experienced problems with PyCAM on a multi-core system under Windows. Thus I guess, the above line will not solve the problem. But for now I don't have any other idea :(
