    Hi!

I'm using the latest version (pycam-0.4.0.1_standalone.exe) and i really like it. I'm now wondering how to save new tools, processes, bounds and so on without loading the task settings after every start of the program?
    thank you
    bye

    Hi Charles,

currently you have to create a new startup link for the exe file with these additional parameters:
    -config LOCATION_OF_THE_FILE

I guess, a good way to improve this could be a new setting like "Default task settings file location" in the "Preferences" menu - or what do you think?

    cheers,
    Lars

thank you for the fast reply!
but unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to create this new startup link with additional parameters…

your idea with the default file location is very good!

    cheers

    Hi Charles,

I just implemented the new setting for automatically loading a custom task settings file during startup.
You will be able to use it with the upcoming release of v0.4.1.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    cheers,
    Lars

Did you already try "Settings -> Load Task Settings"?
