#54 OpenGL: delayed update of model view ( Windows only)

The 3D model view does not get updated under certain circumstances:
- switch view template (front, back, left, right, top, buttom)
- open another model
- during toolpath simulation

Update happens under the following circumstances:
- resize of windows
- mouse pointer moving within the window

This applies to the Windows version of PyCAM.

What to do:
- verify which part of the OpenGL initialization is done during resize and NOT during template switching
- add this initialization step (maybe optional? - for performance) to the shift/rotate/... model view actions

Moving the mouse-pointer within the window only forces updates sometimes.

Sometimes the updates start happening by themselves. I'm not sure what triggers it.

Would it help to post driver or library versions here? If so, what?

I'm using Windows Vista.

thanks for the clarification about mouse-pointer moves.

If you can provide any details regarding your system, this will surely help other people to compare their issue with yours. I am not sure which details are suitable for a driver under Windows - so please just post what you consider to be useful.
