Thanks for PyBuilder, it saved me from having to learn py2exe. I did run into a few problems. Here's the first one, I'll post the other one in a seperate tracker item.
After adding a Tix widget to my UI, PyBuilder's output exe no longer worked. My app would launch with an Python error that it couldn't find Tix.
Sure enough I found that it was neither copying the tcl/tix8.4 or the DLL to the Binary output folder hierarchy.
The odd thing is that it properly copied the other two packages I'm using 'serial' and 'pywin32'.
This is with PyBuilder 0.3 and Python 2.5.2 running on Win XP SP2.

If you were to look on py2exe's website, issues with Tix and py2exe is listed as a known issue. There is a work-around posted which I will try to work in to pybuilder's auto-generated scripts.
