I recently upgraded to RedHat 8.0 but I couldn't compile pybliographer correctly. Recode 3.5 is compiled and installed perfectly. When I configure pybliographer, the following error message comes: checking for a working GdkImlib... no Unable to import the python module _gdkimlib. This usually means that your gnome installation is either incomplete or partially out of date. You can upgrade your system, or alternatively you can reinstall gnome-python *from sources*. Then I checked GdkImlib by rpm -qi imlib and rpm -qi imlib-devel, and found they have been installed (with version 1.9.13). Libraries like libgdk_imlib are included in these packages. I am not familiar with python and don't know whether imlib and imlib-devel is part of gnome-python. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ningchuan |
