When I enter a fully-formed Windows pathname (C:\Documents and Settings\dpm\My Documents\KB\tcvk.t31) in the Python shell the file is parsed and read correctly, but when I do the same thing in my executable I see:

Enter keyblock filename: C:\Documents and Settings\dpm\My Documents\KB\tcvk.t31

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "tr31.py", line 95, in <module>

IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\dpm\\My Documents\\KB\\tcvk.t31'

Where did the extra backslashes come from?

Thanks,

Dean
