No

Been using py2exe since last week, for a small project
to distribute the
final package to my customers. Bacause I'm aren't as
good with python (start
working with it since meet zope last year), really
don't know if I could
answer my own questions, and haven't walked thru code
(can't even understand
a lot of internals on it)...

So, my question is realted to compression method,
since you have chosed
zlib, the compressed stub+pycode is available to
anyone with winzip
installed. I know that aren't the idea behind py2exe
to be a protective
anti-hackers system, but implementing somehow a plain
backend could allow
the exchange of compression methods, like bzip2 or cab
as alternatives.

Anyway, thanks for developing and improving this
solution.

Luis Lavena

You are right: It should *not* be possible to open the created
exe-files with winzip and see all the stuff. Maybe later...
