I have bought the PWSafe iOS App from App77 LTDA (as above), and have been testing it, and find it useful.
But before I trust it with all my passwords, I wanted to check it was the SAME app that's available here, and that it's fully open source, and that there are no "additions" between the publicly visible open-source code and the compiled application I have downloaded (and obviously paid for) from the Apple site.

The apps are not the same. They are written by different people.
Also, they are only mildly compatible. pwsafe (the ndade version) only works with PasswordSafe version 2 databases, while PWSafe (the iOS app) only works with PasswordSafe version 3 databases. So you will need something to convert from v2/linux to v3/iOS.

The apps are not the same. They are written by different people.
