The program is useless at this point going forward as few people learned of this before their FW was updated.
The files seem to Rip to within seconds of the end and then pause in the extraction.
Program Guide info is still accurate.
Seems that while the Video in most cases is ok, the Audio is scrambled with audio spikes that effectivly remove functionality.
There is enough interest in the Yahoo group that I feel there could be some significant willingness to contribute to the project should someone pick it up and run with it.
Doesn't seem to be a large change with exception of Audio.
It is frustrating to manually stop the extraction at the end of the file, but in most cases no serious data is lost by doing this.
The PVR itself must have a way to detect the file type and properly decode, as I have both scrambled and Non scrambled data on my Hard drive.
All files recorded before FW update are fully extractable and play just fine.
Extracting to separate files doesnt help.

Dido all the above - but who's listening? It seems we are all thanking someone who is no longer here. The site looks like no one has worked on this software for almost 2 years now. Perhaps we need to help each other get this going again. I sure want it and would donate. A quick browse of the net shows that at $10 each this software is worth $250,000+ easy to someone. Anyone want to work with me ??
