I've noticed a bug with opening the preferences window when using Java 8. The Save&Close and Close buttons are not visible, they are below the window size. Using Tab will cycle to them, but they are not visible. When using Java 7 they are visible. I run this on the same machine as my FileBot, and it requires Java 8.
