#872 gui objects dollar sign bug
Naming send or receive using $0 only works if the name begins with $0. Naming send or receive using $1 works in both cases, while it does not display correctly in the gui object properties.
Attachment shows all four cases.

This also affects Pd 0.43-1 on Mac OS X 10.6.8/Intel. I think it affects all Pd versions. This is a side effect of a custom escape mechanism used for only certain aspects of iemguis. There are at least 4 or 5 escape mechanisms used in different parts of Pd currently. What needs to happen, IMHO, is there needs to be a central escape mechanism that handles all cases, then this stuff will be easy to fix. DesireData has such a central escape mechanism, it just needs to be ported to Pd.
