sending a [start( message to [pd~] causes "sh: /usr/lib/bin/pd-gui: not found" to be returned to stderr and no subprocess created. Adding a symbolic link: /usr/lib/bin -> /usr/lib/pd-extended/bin gets the subprocess to load but no libraries are found in the subprocess. Adding a symbolic link: "/usr/lib/extra -> /usr/lib/pd-extended/extra" causes the libraries to be found still other file-not-found errors show due to other incorrect file paths (help for objects, for example).
