#153 [switch~]ing [vline~] causes ever increasing CPU usage

it was recently brought to my attention that vline~ continues storing messages it receives when dsp processing is switched off. this can lead to a gradual rise in dsp usage of patches containing vline~. i wrote a quick note about it in the documentation to warn others.

The fix referred to below is still shown as "open". What's it's status-- was it included in Pd-extended? Does it work? Were there side effects causing it to be ignored?
