This version is discarded: it does not have the comfort of the current version (service, better GUI) that is located elsewhere. google for the new location (I think that SF forbids direct linking)
I have developed this program further so it can control some AMD and Intel types now.
It was hosted on another website till year ~2013.
If you are interested I can give you the source code. Or maybe I set up a github project.
bye, Stefan (comp. sc. B.Sc., M.Sc. aspirant)

I sent the full source code zip file to you recently but I encountered sending problems.
Did you receive it?
You'll need "CMake" for building.
AFAIK it builds easier under Linux than under Windows due to wxWidgets-CMake (etc.).
If you have Windows, download and use MinGW for cmpiling/linking. It was tested with this compiler.
If you have questions building it from source, ask me (e.g. here in this wiki)
bye

I did some e-mail send attempts.
Did you reveive anything?
I have Internet connection problems:
"Senden der Nachricht fehlgeschlagen.
Die Nachricht konnte nicht gesendet werden, weil die Verbindung mit dem SMTP-Server smtp.[...].de ihre Ablaufzeit (Timeout) überschritten hat. Versuchen Sie es nochmals."
Uploading the attachment here also did not work.
Sometimes my Internet provider sucks.
I have packet losses in a game and also high latencies sometimes.
I'll do some attempts later.

As long as you don't try and send me source code any more I think there should not be any problems. I don't know why gmail is so aggressive. Never bumped into this issue before with it.
If you still need to send me something let me know. And I will sign up with some other email service.

All separate.
Use wxWidgets 2.8.12 or later.
AFAIK I built it only with wxWidgets 2.8.12 which is already some years old.
wxWidgets 3.x is newer but not sure to work without modifying the sourcecode.

Wow, that's an impressive advance for a non-insider!
That's what I meant it is easier to build under Linux.
On Windows I think wxWidgets-cmake does not know (in contrast to Linux ) which names the libraries have.
So you cannot use the "wxWidgets_LIBRARIES" variable but instead have to pass the file paths of the "core", "base", "adv" libraries yourself.

But just to make sure: I can't build it for Windows on Linux, right?
You're not talking about cross-compiling, but just in general building it for Linux?
So I assume that whatever I do, I HAVE to build it on Windows if I want to run it on Windows?

Apache Xerces for XML processing is also a dependency.
Maybe for Xerces (and wxWidgets) MinGW package(s) exist.
Then building the program should be easier.

Even though wx/version.h is exactly in that location. I'm about to give up on this. It's getting way too complex. Now I have to learn how CMake internals work and fix this bug in their code. This seems impossible. Someone reported this bug earlier in 2016, but it was never fixed.
If you have a precompiled version I would appreciate that instead.

Ok some Chinese water torture later, and I managed to fix it. MinGW does not include a cygpath executable that CMake depends on. So had to install a shell script that emulates cygpath, and then modify CMake to use this script. Now it detects wxWidgets correctly.
Next, installing Xerces.

Hello! That sounds great. I have a Turion X2 TL-58. Would be great if it works with that also.
I will send you a PM.
I don't know. My program supports these AMD families :
-K7
-NPT family 0F (15) aka K8? -> your CPU??
-K8L (Turion X2 Ultra et al)
-K10
-family 15hex partly

CPU-Z reports Family F, Model 8. So maybe that works.
According to Wikipedia this CPU is in that family (K8 - Turion X2 Mobile CPUs).

Ok, I think I'm done zipping.
I excluded hidden (git SCM) files via hint from https://superuser.com/questions/178729/zipping-all-files-dirs-in-a-directory-except-hidden-ones , else the zip archive gets too big (35 MB).
I tried to use a GUI before--it was terrible.
I sent the full source code zip file to you recently but I encountered sending problems.

I sent you a new PM.
Btw. I just noticed you can add attachments to messages here too.
Maybe try that if it's not too big?

I did some e-mail send attempts.

I sent you the response to my e-mail to your .fi address.
Provide a NON-GMail e-mail address. Even an e-mail alias for a GMail e-mail account is the same as this also invokes the GMail e-mail scanner.
I have the source code now. I picked it up in the intermediate inbox before the GMail filter.

Installing MinGW at the moment, and trying to figure out what components I need to add to it.
I guess this is related to the little assembler code that I use.
Here the Google heuristics may think that assembler is potentially evil.
You also need wxWidgets for the GUI.
Is there a MinGW package for wxWidgets, or do I install it separately?
Also same question for CMake..

Compiling wxWidgets (2.8.12) now. It's going to take a while...
Progress so far:
Now when I run create_wxGUI.sh with these settings:
I get this error:
Not really sure why this is happening?
I think that's it for today. Will continue tomorrow.
Wow, that's an impressive advance for a non-insider!

No, I do not mean cross-compiling.
But cross-compiling should also work although I have never tested it.

Well..I got a little further now by installing wxWidgets with the configure method + make install instead of the direct Makefile.gcc method.
Now building with CMake it detects wxWidgets, but I get this error instead:
Even though wx/version.h is exactly in that location. I'm about to give up on this. It's getting way too complex. Now I have to learn how CMake internals work and fix this bug in their code. This seems impossible. Someone reported this bug earlier in 2016, but it was never fixed.
