Pulsar
Pulsar is a modern, offline-first financial tracker built for clarity and privacy.
Track your income and spending, visualize your financial trajectory with predictive graphing, and keep your data secure on your own machine — no cloud required.
Features
- 📈 Smart Visualization — Interactive graphs with zoom, scroll, and a 30-day linear regression prediction to see where your finances are heading.
- 🔒 Local-Only Storage — Your transaction data is stored locally (
.csv) in your AppData folder. Nothing leaves your PC. - 📤 Flexible Export — Export your data to Excel (
.xlsx), OpenDocument (.ods), or CSV for external analysis.
Setup
- Download
Pulsar_setup.exefrom the latest release - Run the installer to install the program
- Launch Pulsar from your desktop or start menu
- Click Add Income or Add Spending to record your first transaction
- Use the Select Date calendar to backdate entries or plan ahead
- Watch the graph automatically update with trend lines and gradient shading
- Use the Export button to back up your data or move it to a spreadsheet application
