This is the [PubmedParser extension]http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:PubmedParser for MediaWiki.
It adds an #PMID keyword to look up scientific articles by their unique ID in the Pubmed.gov database, and return the citation.
The extensions outputs the citation in the form of a MediaWiki template called "pubmed", enabling Wiki users to easily implement their own quotation style by editing this template.
