Publictimestamp has the goal to timestamp as many free software file releases as possible - so all free software can be used as prior art against bad patents more easily.
To timestamp files, publictimestamp.org goes a completely new way: Every three hours we create a cryptographic signature, that hopefully soon lots of people will attach to their emails.
