#27 ptpd v2.2.0 -V flag does not work

The -V flag does not delay the statistics being updated in the log file specified with -f

We need to be able to specify max log file size and log rotate to allow for x number of log files.
Need to be able to log PTP state whilst statistics is not required.

    I'll have a look at this one - however, can you not simply use logrotate to manage the log file? Logrotate is available for nearly all unix-like platforms and will keep the log file down to a certain size for you automatically, with the option to compress and preserve old logs.

    Current code supports log file rotation, statistics file rate limiting, etc. Closing this.
