    Hey there,

I've made pop-ups for PTM that don't steal focus, using external library. It's a bit difficult to send is as a patch though - I could upload it to the SVN if you'd like.

Please download ptm 1.4.4 and test if the popup don't steal focus. It's works for me.
If not, I was wondering if you shared your solution.

Damn, it's working ;) All my work for nothing ;) But since the upgrade from time to time the notify window is not showing up, like it was covered by other windows. Nevertheless the beep is being played, so it generally works.

I just realized I downloaded the code from SVN and got version 1.4.3 which doesn't steal the focus.  So, I haven't tried version 1.4.4 yet.

So you don't experience any problems with the popup not showing up at all?

And it is version 1.4.4 - I believe Carlos forgot to bump up the version number, because in 1.4.4 package from sourceforge it's also 1.4.3 in splash screen.

At first I thought maybe the popups weren't activating.  I now think it is just that perhaps they sometimes popup behind other windows since they no longer steal the focus.  They "pop-under", if you will.  I just leave a bit of a gap at the bottom of my desktop and have the sound notification turned on and I see part of the popup window and can then respond to it.
