    Hi,

After updating to 2.1.1 I found psync not working anymore due to missing perl lib. files. Thhis is the message in the terminal:

    [code]
    Backup begun Mon Nov 10 12:47:06 2003
    Can't locate MacOSX/File.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /System/Library/Perl/darwin /System/Library/Perl /Library/Perl/darwin /Library/Perl /Library/Perl /Network/Library/Perl/darwin /Network/Library/Perl /Network/Library/Perl .) at /usr/bin/psync line 14.
    BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/psync line 14.
    [code]

How can I re-install those libs?

    Thanks.

Did you install this on 10.2?  Because (and you can see this if you look at psyncx.sourceforge.net) PsyncX 2.0 is the latest version I've released that will work on 10.2  I'm planning on putting out a new version that will work with both OSes shortly, but my problem is that the configurations for Perl are different between 10.2 and 10.3  So I'm going to need to work on my installer scripts to get this to work.

I have the same problem. But I cannot see how to go back to PsyncX 2.0. I tried running the installed, but it gives an error that says you cannot install an older version over a newer one. Moving the 2.1.1 version to the trash does not seem to help.

You will need to delete the PsyncX receipt in /Library/Receipts  After that, the PsyncX 2.0 installer should work fine.
