    Hi,
Sorry for my english. my question is : it is possible to back up a full osx server disk 120 gig to a network disk (snapserver 4100) and in case off problems rebuil the xserve disk from this back up ?

You might be able to do it, but I've run into problems backing up over AppleTalk.  Also, what OS is on the network disk?

I guess I would suggest backing up the data you need on the xserve, but don't try to backup the entire thing. If you back it all up and then need to restore at some point, I'm not sure what would happen (because the permissions probably won't be saved and you may not end up with a bootable backup on your xserve).

      David
