Hello,
I would like to use Psyco with Python 2.7. I read that a branch was started. The news about this branch is from july 2010 but it seams as no changes have been done to this branch since february 2010.

Python 2.7 seams to be the last version in the 2.x series and will probably maintained longer than the usual 2 years. So making this "final" version of psyco seams to be worth it.

I would find this very desirable as well. Psyco is still the best and easiest performance optimization for CPython 2.x.

+1 on this request for 2.7. Does anyone with experience with the Psyco code base plan on implementing this?

I'd also like to see this. Non-availabilty of psyco for 2.7 currently stops my plan to step to the "final python" ;-)
Is there perhaps any documentation or note which points to a plan. what are the main difficulties?
