Hi Folks, I downloaded version 0.5.2 of psunami and installed it on my Debian 2.2 (Potato) The configuration was quite simple and the Board seemed to work. But it just seemed to work! Every time I want to add a new Board it gives me an error-message like "couldn't change into directory..." When I look at the directory-permissions I see e.g. "rw- --- ---" so the Program can't change into it's own just created directory. The permissions for the directory above are "rwx rwx rwx" so the script should set the permissions correctly. Any Ideas??? Thanks in advance Martin = |

Discovered this earlier today in the 0.5.1 code In psunami.cgi lost_password: It says this: &sec_set_user_details($uid, $password_crypted, $groups, $email); Should be: &sec_set_user_details($uid, $username, $password_crypted, $groups, $email); Username is not getting written, which means everything if offset by a column, so lost passwords corrupt a user account... Also, wondering what the state of psunami dev is... I am interested in helping a bit, although perl is new to me. |

I'd like to able to include the board name and topic/thread name in the html output by editing psunami_html.pl, but if the top_html and bottom_html for the various sections are are strings then I don't think they can easily be made to output the current boardname or current topic ? How about changing them to subroutines which would allow them to use the current value of various variables such as , real_board_name for the full site, board_name for the current board and thread_name for the current topic ? I attach a patch to show what changes to this that I'm using myself. Works nicely for me. C. The attached (hopefully list does not strip attachments) little patch changes the behaviour of post and reply to not use the redirect interim page. I do like the interim page for informative messages, like, you have logged in, or successfuly changed preferences, but for posting maybe not. My perl is crude, but it suffices for me. Patch is against 0.4 C.
