I have danced around lack of streams with popen in C++ for some time, but have only now discovered PStreams. I integrated it into a current project overnight and can only say thank you!
Very easy to understand and use and a very robust solution based on my first 24-hours of exposure!
I will create a Slackware package script for it shortly and submit it to Slackbuilds.org so that you can add Slackware to your distro list (I'll let you know when that is complete).
Thanks again!
