• Use Image Magick's imconvert to convert images to pgm format (send width, height, leftmargin, bottommargin and rotate parameters to position and scale image correctly)
• Use Peter Selinger's potrace to convert pgm format to Postscript vectors
• Feed Postscript vectors to front-end translator
