#8 Tape writing daemons: Startup and Monitoring

The tape writing daemon at Swinburne (and at Parkes I guess) should be startable from Parkes without a swinburn user account.

Some kind of automated system is needed for starting the scripts and getting log files and monitoring progress.

Current monitoring is insufficient, I have a little shell script that gives good feedback, but it would be nice to have a webpage for monitoring data transfer.

Useful things:

Last tape written to
Last file written (and date)
Speed of last transfer/write
Disk usage on remote machine.
Current transfer to/from status.
