#322 PSRFITS: search mode data lost

psrchive programs should either not attempt to unload PSRFITS search mode files or be made smart enough to only modify search mode files (in place). Currently, psredit can be used to read header parameters from PSRFITS files and it is natural to assume that it could also modify them and write out an updated file. Unfortunately, none of the search mode data is loaded into memory and a file with zero sub-integrations will be output.
