Hi list I am building the "pspvc-install-0.3.tar.gz" tarball on Ubuntu 7.04 including latest Updates and required software for PSPVC Anyone knows howto solve this? [...] ffmpeg/libswscale/Makefile ffmpeg/libswscale/rgb2rgb.c ffmpeg/libswscale/swscale_internal.h ffmpeg/libswscale/swscale.h ffmpeg/libswscale/yuv2rgb_template.c ffmpeg/libswscale/yuv2rgb.c ffmpeg/libswscale/swscale-example.c ffmpeg/libswscale/yuv2rgb_mlib.c ffmpeg/libswscale/yuv2rgb_altivec.c ffmpeg/libswscale/rgb2rgb_template.c ffmpeg/libswscale/swscale_template.c gcc is unable to create an executable file. If gcc is a cross-compiler, use the --cross-compile option. Only do this if you know what cross compiling means. C compiler test failed. If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest version from SVN. If the latest version fails, report the problem to the ffm...@mp... mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.freenode.net. Include the log file "config.err" produced by configure as this will help solving the problem. -e \E[01;31mERROR during configure FFMPEG best regards Simon -- XMPP: sj...@sw... |

can I have the source code? I would create a .deb package ;) Thanks -- Patrick Arminio |

Would it be possible to create a .deb package for Ubuntu? In the sense that, are the programs compiled necessary to compile locally? I would be more than happy to make one if there is an interest in it and I think it would help out users who have no idea what a terminal is. ExxonValdeez |

Is there no way to get command line output or debugging information? Or possibly a way to test stages for the conversion? |

I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong but ... when I try converting an avi and hit 'convert' a new window pops up showing a screenshot and all 0's from progress and framerate etc ... there's no output to the terminal session at all and I can't figure out what I might be missing. Is there any debug mode/option I could use or is it possible I'm just missing something? Both strace and gdb don't give a heck of a lot :( Anyone have any ideas? -- Lonny -- "The glass is neither half empty nor half full ... it is twice as big as it needs to be" |

Hi, first of all: pspvc is a great application! :) Maybe I found a bug. Some AVIs are converted twice in a file. I mean, the coverted movie double long as it should be. Example: I want to convert a 5minute movie. The converted movie is 10minutes. If I watch the PSP-movie, I see in the first 5minutes a movie as well. Then I see the same movie again in 5-10minutes. I did notice that converting movies goes until 100%. Then it should be finished, but it runs further (same duration like from 0%-100%) while process status keeps on 100%. I think pspvc did encode the movie twice in 1 file. Suggestion? May I help somehow at debugging, then let me know! cu Floh |

I'm just a user too, so I'll probably not be much use, but just out of curiosity, what application did you use to create the avi you were converting into a PSP-movie? I've only used mencoder and it's always worked very well for me. Andy |
