    Hi Dominik,

... I'm not sure whether I will be able to import my data and event codes into PsPM and its not gonna be possible to analyse the data without the event information. I have collected the data using Psychlab, but their data format doesn't seem to be supported by PsPM. I have also previously converted the files to .edf format and used them in EEGLab with Matlab, but I also don't see to be able to import .edf files. Is there any solution you know of?

    Thanks a lot,

    Catarina

    Hi Catarina

PsPM 3.0 does not support Psychlab simply because it is a proprietary format and we have no sample files or documentation. If you could provide a sample Psychlab and corresponding EDF file, we will happily provide an import function. I can already say that an EDF import function will be finished by the end of this week, and a function to directly imports psychlab might be ready for you by next week.

    Hope this helps
    Best wishes
    Dominik

    Hi Catarina

EDF files are now supported by the current development version (in svn folder /trunk) of PsPM. It will also be inclued in the next release 3.0.1.

Unfortunately we were not able to provide PsychLab-Support, since we couldn't get the file-spec from the according manufacturer. We thus recommend exporting PsychLab-Data into EDF in order to analyze it with PsPM. You can download a file converter from the PsychLab website (http://www.psychlab.com/downloads/EDFConverter.exe).

    best regards,
    Tobias
