    Hello,

I am interested in using the PsPM analysis tool on galvanic skin resistance (GSR) data that was collected from BrainVision software along with EEG recordings. The data was collected from participants who responded to visually emotional stimuli in 4.5 second inter-stimulus interval and GSR was recorded continuously. I am curious as to what method would be most beneficial in the analysis of this type of data and what advice you can provide for inputting our event codes (conditions) in order to get time locked responses to each stimuli if a response does exist.

    Thanks in advnce,
    Morgan Slauter

    Hi Morgan

your paradigm sounds like a classic application for the GLM for evoked SCR, and you can just follow the steps in the PsPM tutorial.

I should say that a 4.5 s ITI may pose some limitations on what you can measure with SCR but this would be the same for any method. If there are different types of pictures and not every picture actually elicits an SCR, it may well work out.

    Hope this helps
    Best
    Dominik
