Definitions

Engineering Notebook
It can be a physical notebook or a file that achieves the same purpose stored on a computer, handheld device or any other similar technology. The Engineering Notebook is used for tracking time, recording assignments, tracking commitments, making notes, and as a workbook for design ideas and calculations.

Time Log Entry
Each time period included in the Time Recording Log that records the time data. Each time period is entered on one line of the form.

Time Recording Log
The time recording log is a form used for recording time.
