Hi Mathias, Thank you for the meeting notes. Especially nice to see new people getting involved! Is Jinmeng's updated list of minimum metrics already available online? At first sight I couldn't find it in the qcML-development nor in Jinmeng's MIAPE-QC repository. Concerning the EuBIC meeting: this is explicitly geared towards mass spectrometry proteomics bioinformatics. So you can expect the attendants to be experts in our fields, and all of them will also engage in hands-on work during the hackathon sessions. I have already heard some people express their interest in a QC-related project, so I think there is definitely an opportunity to get some nice work done and introduce new people to our efforts. We will have to submit a nice topic proposal for the hackathon though. Someone should be prepared to function as lead for this project, and all project proposals will go through peer review to select the meeting program. Develop impromptu integrations/implementations, with sessions for cv updates and visualization. @Wout: what is the target 'audience'? Can we expect familiarity with MS-based proteomics? This is a unique opportunity to meet proteomics bioinformaticians, and I think it would be very useful if some working group members would attend the meeting. Even more, as I'm aware that there definitely is interest in having a QC-related project included in the meeting, we should try to submit a project proposal. I won't be the lead in that myself as my main priority then will be the organization of the meeting itself. >> >> I will be on holiday the remainder of this week so I won't be able to attend the teleconference on Friday. Might I therefore ask someone else to take some notes so me and other people who might not be able to attend can still remain up to date with the things that have been discussed?
