According to what I'm aware of 'net:sf:psidev:mi' namespace violates W3C namespace recommendation. Namespace names should be valid URIs (vide http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml-names/#sec-namespaces\). Some parsers (these that do check if namespace is URI; this is left up to implementation) do not tolerate multiple colons in the namespace name. Getting rid of the colons seems to be a bare minimum (the best solution would be to set it to something like http://hupo.org/psi/mi/rel25/src/MIF25 )
I did mention this in the mailing list quite w while ago but somehow it got overlooked :o(
Can this, please, be changed as soon as possible, as MIF files can be bounced around through soap servers that might use a parser chocking on them just because of the extraneous colons...
