A pre-release version of psh is now available on SourceForge at
This is a beta-test release to support the development of psh
and fixing remaining bugs by adding a wider range of testers
till the official 0.010 release which will (as usual) be made
available by Gregor when he thinks the time fits.
Note that due to its pre-release nature, this package is only
available at the above mentioned URL and not on the the psh homepage
or from CPAN.
Note that there are known bugs, especially in the completion area.
These will be addressed for the 0.011 release as they require a
major rewrite of the completion system.
Nevertheless, I think this version is far superior and more bug-free
than all psh releases before.
The most important changes: Far less memory consumption, vastly
improved startup time, many new builtins, parser rewrite to get rid
of certain bugs, new redirection syntax, improved scripting,
prompt and completion themes, new configuration options system.
Please see the CHANGES file and the README.upgrade file in the
package for more information.
