Hi there (hoping anybody reads this)
I know that's not really a user question: I am designing a mode for a
certain stylesheet type that could benefit from the use of DTD
information (yeah, I know DTDs are out, but I still use them, and
suspect I will do so for a long time coming). Hence, my idea would be
whether I could simply do something along the lines of:
(sgml-load-dtd (sgml-catalog-lookup (files pubid type name))
;; extract the element names from dtd-info
... whatever; I think you get the picture. I've tried to figure this
out on my own, but failed - the structure of psgml's inner workings
isn't really transparent to me.
If either of the two tasks - looking up a DTD file name and parsing
the DTD once found - could be done stealing from PSGML, that would be
I imagine I remembered that the PSGML doc used to contain a section
entitled "API" ... but that may be self-deception.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks very much!
