I am curious what "proxytunnel -x" really does under Windows. My understanding is when I specify something like "Proxytunnel -x firefox.exe", it will make show itself as the process name "firefox.exe" to the proxies it goes through.
I do see a "proc title override enabled " (or something to that effect) mentioned in the proxytunnel output after specifying the -x paramater. But, not sure if that's actually doing anything under Windows.
What's the difference between doing -x firefox and just renaming proxytunnel.exe to firefox.exe?
Sorry in advance if I'm missing something very fundamental.
