Spokesman Steve Spence said they could borrow as much as they could and find a parent or other relative loaning spare money to make up the difference. The researchers said it did not matter what proportion of the calorie intake came from fat, protein or carbohydrate, it was the total calorie intake that was important. The link was closely correlated, with mothers eating the fewest calories producing children who had the thickest arteries. They found that, on average, the lower the mother's intake during pregnancy, the thicker the artery wall of the child. "It is important that the Government continues to develop schemes to help key workers onto the property ladder and to ensure that these schemes are not confined to southern England. Aloha I hope that when you receive this letter, you won't close it without signs of attention and interest. I am writing to you in order to suggest you to build love and romantic relations. You may wonder why such attractive woman like me is still single. It is very simple answer at this question: I have not yet met the one who will turn upside down all my life. I need such man who will appreciate not only my body, but see the beauty of my inner deep world. I know that we are not acquinted, but I want to use this chance, because it can't repeat again. So, I am happy to meet you. I am very glad to greet you in my life if you want. You can believe me or not, but i am a woman-fire who can make your life more interesting and full of bright impressions. how do you like the idea of mornings' breakfasts in the bed, romantic walks on week ends, happy family evenings after working days? As for me I dream about it every day. I am tired to come at lonely home, to cook meal only for one person and to eat at loneliness and to go asleep at loneliness too. I want to come at home and to meet my beloved, to kiss him, to cook him tasteful meal, to feel secured and happy every monrning and every night. I will close this letter, but it doesn't ordinary letter, it is a call to build love and change your life to better and to forget about lonely days. I will wait for letter with hopes in my heart http://lovemeanyou.com/smiling Looking forward to get a letter from you Irisha G |

Several points here: 0) localProxy can be configured manually to do just about anything, but it's not easy. Automatic configuration is really the only option for most people. 1) although localproxy can be configured to use a simple non-ssl external obfuscating proxy, the configuration to guarantee your safety is not easy. I wrote the thing and I would need to do extensive tests before I trusted my own configuration! 2) localproxy seems like a silly way to handle this given that you have an external box anyway. LP is really only for those who don't have such a thing. There are *far* better ways in this case. 3) if you insist on a CGIProxy, I'd stll recommend James Marshall's CGIProxy, written in Perl BTW. Set it up on your external SSL web server, and you're safe. It's getting old, and maybe there are better CGI proxies available now though. 4) beware of home-grown proxies. They usually forget to protect against 'replay' attacks where the the network admin can just repeat a url he sees you using from his proxy logs to see where you were going. I don't know about Michael's, but make sure that's included. 5) Note that using this method, all your obfuscated urls are easily noticeable in the NTLM proxy logs. I think the best way for you (and this is the method i use) is to set up an encrypted tunnel to your external box using ssh/sshd. Note that if you own the external box, a VPN would be even better than the ssh approach. Anyway, use ssh with a dynamic port forwarded (that's a Socks port). For completeness, you might also forward a port to a proxy you run outside too (useful for apps which can't be convinced to use Socks). Then set your browser to use the Socks proxy (localhost:1080 is a good choice). Socksify other apps to use the same thing (IM's are usually all ok with this). Others that need an HTTP proxy and can't be socksified (e,g, Perl module updates, Linux updates, etc.) will use the static forwarded port. Further static ports can be set up fo any other non-HTTP apps. The trick with that approach is setting up the tunnel. I assume your NTLM proxy will allow you to get to secure web sites (it will allow you to CONNECT to port 443 on those sites). You better have your external server listening on that port (or maybe 80) otherwise it won't be permitted. The first step is to get something that will talk to NTLM, and make the CONNECT tunnel. I use two things for this, but there might be better stuff around now. The NTLM is handled by ntlmproxy (Perl, distributed in the proxyTools package). It just provides A non-NTLM proxy interface for you. Then I use something like 'connect' (recommended in the ssh documentation, IIRC) to make the actual CONNECT tunnel. Then ssh to the localhost end of the tunnel (with sshd running at the other end) will make an encrypted tunnel with the socks and http proxy forwarded ports. Any use of this tunnel is now completely safe from prying eyes. Every now and then, I find a Java applet in a web page that ignores the browser proxy settings, and tries to connect to it's home directly. They don't use the NTLM proxy even so, and it would be hard to imagine a network admin savvy enough to see and recognize this. I trust my career to that too. :-) wa...@ny...st (remove the extra 's') |

Python is *very* easy to learn. If you've done any programming before then you already know most of python basics. Second good news - I'll add URL obfuscation for you, if you help me test. (You ought to learn python anyway.. it really is a lovely language). approx works by rewriting URLs in the CGI - so that accessing links go through the proxy. Since it is rewriting URLs already... obfuscating them really is very easy. When you use the clientside proxy, the URLs are modified by the clientside and approx knows to leave them alone. I would just need to plug the same bit of code into the clientside and the server side. As I said, the clientside proxy needs work though. That sounds very promising. I'll try and install it on my server, and test it soon. I fear now I really have to learn Python, because without url obfuscation I really can't risk much more than testing a few "inocuous" urls. I've written a CGI proxy in python called approx. http://www.voidspace.org.uk/atlantibots/pythonutils.html It needs to be installed on an external server with Python 2.2 +. This will be almost all Linux servers. It doesn't *yet* do URL obfuscation - but that would be *trivial* to add. When used just as a CGI it only modifies webpages - it doesn't work with Javascript. However - when used with a clientside proxy as well (browser connects to localhost - clientside proxy connects to approx). The clientside proxy is still 'alpha' - I've had it working (and used it regularly) via our company proxy - but it didn't work with a direct connection. Help in testing would be appreciated. Because it proxies all connections from the browser - things like javascript work fine. Note for Wayne - if you wanted to build in support for approx into localproxy, it would be *very* easy. The url's just need rewriting for the approx location. It's an http/ftp only proxy of course. Hello! I am using now another software to bypass the corporate firewall censorship measures. The use NTLM for authentication, websense for the censorship software. My problem is that the sw that I use now, hasn't been updated in over 2 years, and doesn't support "translating" much of the javascript being used to navigate inside sites. I was thinking of using proxytools instead, but I need to know if the url's are obfuscated when they are sent thru the corporate proxy (as it is done by the sw that I use now), or are they sent in plain view? If so, I can't use proxytools, as accessing competitors websites or recruitment sites is reason for disciplinary procedures, so finding a url for one of those in the ISA logs would get me into trouble. Thank you! PS: I have a server outside the corporate network with cgi access, so I can always put a script or a program there to obfuscate the urls and proxy everything... -- Jose Bernardo B R Silva | Source Mage GNU/Linux Section Guru jbe...@so... | http://www.sourcemage.org http://counter.li.org #245602 http://cosmos.oninetspeed.pt/jose.bernardo jb...@ba... |

I see a couple of people asking how to start localproxy, since there's no exe file. It's all Perl source code. It's an interpreted language, like Basic. You need an interpreter. It's called Perl. Get Activeperl from www.activstate.com. Once that's installed, then you can double-click on localProxy.pl. It should start a window and (maybe) download some extra Perl libraries. I suggest you click 'Help' in that window (or double-click 'readMe.html' in the directory). Read the simple descriptions there. wa...@ny... http://proxytools.sf.net/ |

For those who have no way to get to the proxyTools main pages because they're blocked by the UAE, I suggest trying: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/proxytools/proxyTools.2004.12.2.zip Then, for $DEITY's sake, run it and you'll have at least a slow proxy (even in a year or so) to fall back on, so you can get things like it next time ... wa...@ny...st |
