That means localProxy is only able to use commStrat 2. LP is choosing to modify your URLs to get through the proxies you have provided it. The specific modification is to send the URL via worldlingo.
This specific substrategy is really a last resort for LP. One problem with worldingo is that they simply redirect any file download requests back to you (and that gets blocked by the sound of it).
I'd guess your environment is heavily firewalled(?).
The only way out of it all is to make sure LP has some better proxies, or strategies, to use. For example if you can provide test info from statProxy showing even one of your accessible proxies allows CONNECT, LP would probably use it.
- Try 'autoconfigure' on the 'advanced' window.
- Make sure you have given LP everything you know. - Double-click the 'readme.html' file to get into the help documentation and look at LocalProxy - 'Quick start' and 'Configuring'.
- try statProxy and mergeHosts as described there to give LP better information to start with.
- give us better information to help with your problem. For example, are outgoing connections blocked by a firewall? Are any services permitted? Which ones? Is there a proxy you are forced to use?
